My family and I just absolutely loves a local noodle shop. My favorite dish there is a chicken noodle dish with veggies. It’s one of the few places we go that I just can’t help myself but lick the bowl clean.

It gets a little expensive taking a family of six out to eat anywhere, especially if you do it frequently. So, when I ran across this recipe, I knew I’d found the solution. Now we can enjoy a delicious chicken and noodle bowl at home.

Sesame Chicken Noodles

1 box thin spaghetti noodles

2 chicken breast

1 bag snap peas

1/4 cup soy sauce

2 tablespoons sugar

1-2 tablespoons garlic, minced

2 tablespoons rice vinegar

3 tablespoons sesame oil

3-4 tablespoons olive oil

4 green onions, diced

Cook the noodles as directed on the box or bag. While noodles are cooking, dice the chicken breasts and cook in a pan. When the chicken is close to being done, toss the snap peas into the pan and cook them just until soft and the chicken is done. Drain the noodles when done, but don’t rinse.

In a bowl, pour the soy sauce, sugar, minced garlic, rice vinegar, sesame oil and olive oil. Whisk all these ingredients until well combined.

Pour the warm noodles into a large bowl. Toss the chicken and peas on top of the noodles and then pour the sauce over the top of everything. Mix everything together just until combined. Top the sesame chicken noodles with the diced green onions.
