Selvig Hits Coaching Milestone

Robin Selvig coaches his 1000^th  Lady Griz basketball game tonight. He is in his 34^th year as the teams head coach. His record is 762-237, his teams have won the conference title 22 times, appeared in 24 national tourneys and made 19 appearances in the NCAA tournament. Robin is passionate about basketball, as any regular fan can attest to, he’s animated, vocal, and demonstrative. He cares very much about his players and is very proud of their accomplishments both on and off the court.

For many years I worked as the public address announcer for Lady Griz basketball and got to watch Robin first hand. He’s a class guy who knows a lot about “hoops”.
