So, was the officer simply doing his job or taking it all a bit too personally? You be the judge. A Seattle city attorney says he is tossing out the citations for public use of marijuana during the first seven months of 2014. The attorney says most of the citations were written by one police officer who disagrees with the state of Washington's legal marijuana law. Yes, sales of marijuana were legalized, but smoking pot in public remains a violation. Not only will the offenders who were cited but haven't paid yet be pardoned, the 22 who have paid the fines will get their 27 bucks back.

Really? One officer wrote almost all these? Huh. Oh, and that officer has been temporarily reassigned.
