Fishing that I have never done. I'd sure like to sometime (hint hint you guys). And it's almost time!  Montana is one of the few places in the world to catch those pre-historic looking paddlefish. There are limits and quotas so it's good to keep an eye on FWP rules, regs, tallies, etc.  On the upper Missouri upstream from Fort Peck Dam to Fort Benton the season opens May 1. There's a 500-fish harvest target and the harvest season closes on 24-hour notice. Catch and release continutes until June 15. The season  on the Yellowstone and Missouri downstream of Fort Peck begins May 15. The harvest target is 1,000. So good luck and I hope you land a whopper! DB
