The University of Montana Student Athletic Advisory Committee is in a very worthwhile competition. It's the Big Sky Conference Cup competition and they need your donations to "score points." Donations go to CASA of Missoula, which stands for Court Appointed Special Advocates. In short, money helps fund cases involving children who may not otherwise have a legal voice to stand up for them. You can fill in the lengthy, often sad blank here regarding how many different situations that might entail. So if you are going to any University of Montana sporting event this week-and among soccer, football and men's and women's basketball there are a lot of them-bring along some school supplies, kids' backpacks, dollar bills, whatever. You'll be helping the Griz win the Cup competition, but more importantly you'll be helping some children win. If you can't make it to a game you can help by contacting Madeline Murray with the Student Athletic Advisory Committee, madeline.murray@umconnect.um.edu
