While I think I would be just fine without it, I know a lot of folks in rural areas of Montana have some major concerns. Well it looks like for now the Postal Service has suffered a setback in its plans to end Saturday mail deliveries. Congress has advanced a spending bill requiring the U.S. Postal Service to continue to deliver on Saturdays. The Postal Service lost $16 billion last year and was looking to save at least $2 billion  annually by dropping Saturday deliveries. The Senate approved a provision to maintain Saturday mail service and, like mail on Saturdays, it now goes to the House. DB
