Rock Creek Monster Brown Trout Takes Fly Fisherman’s Offering

The brown trout is probably my favorite of the species. A subtle beauty that I really appreciate, good fight, weird look in their eyes. But I've never landed one like this! Yeah, like you I did a double-take when I first saw this. Congratulations to Ben Hahn who landed this 29-inch whopper while fishing Rock Creek on Sunday with guide Zack Lazzirri. By the way, Ben released the beast, so it's just waiting for you! I didn't hear what fly Ben was using, but I imagine John at Rock Creek Fisherman's Mercantile could give you the scoop.
