Rock Creek Fishing!

Friday, the start of the weekend and time to fish! So I grabbed my rod and met my friend john at the Rock Creek mercantile to see what water monsters we could catch.

A lot of speculation on rivers being blown right now. Though many are, Rock Creek on Friday was good fishing! It was high and fast but not muddy as most would think, It was actually a tea colored.

We hike to a good spot on the river and start fishing along the bank, where the water is flowing a lot slower. To our delight we got a bite! Actually a few, rained a bit but overall a good day of fishing.

I was able to land a really nice brown! So if your up in the area and need to grab some flies and want to fish, go in to the fly shop there and get the pink worm. Rock Creek fish seem to love that! Fish on
