You probably can't run out and buy a kit to make one of these at the local hobby store, but I know a lot of Montana hunters who would love to!

We got wind of a story from Fox News Q 13 in the Seattle area that is pretty high tech.  Washington Department of Fish and Wildlife officials have assembled some very realistic animal robots to catch illegal hunters.

The deer-bots, and actually the bear, elk and grouse - bots too, are remote-controlled to simulate subtle animal movements. They are made with real pelts and have eyes that glow in headlights.

So far the mechanical critters have been helpful during a number of arrests, mainly for night-hunting violations. The Jetsons would be proud, wouldn't they?
