Robber Calls Mom for Getaway

Now, I accept the fact that dudes who knock off convenience stores are  probably not on the dean's lists at prestigious universities, but when I first saw this AP story, I thought, no way!!!!!This happened in Lafayette LA. Young fella sticks up a convenience store. But he had locked his keys in his getaway car. He got arrested while---get ready for it---waiting for his mom to bring the spare key! Wouldn't you love to know how that conversation went?  Police retrieved the gun used in the robbery and everything he took from the store.  Sheesh!  DB
