Really Big Buddha Stolen

Oh, mercy! I see years of bad karma for the thieves who did this. I mean, who steals Buddha? And I use the plural "thieves" since this Buddha weighs 400 pounds. I'm thinking this was not a solo job. Jim Elliot says the statue was stolen from his back yard in Halfway, Maryland. It's made of solid granite and was a gift from a military buddy from Mr. Elliot's service days in South Korea. Police are investigating and Jim is investigating on his own, checking eBay and craigslist. Yeah, if one came up on either of those it's probably a pretty good bet it's the burgled Buddha. Bad karma, I tell ya! DB
