Ravalli County Sheriff Urges Bitterroot Residents to Not Burn on Saturday Due to High Winds

In a special news release from Ravalli County Sheriff Chris Hoffman, residents in the Bitterroot valley are being asked to not burn on Saturday, April 27.

“Due to the expected 70 degree temperatures and high winds expected for Saturday, April 27, Ravalli County Sheriff Chris Hoffman with Ravalli County Fire Warden Brad Mohn request that citizens NOT burn on Saturday. The temperature and winds are expected to create a high fire risk that might endanger citizens and property.”
