The Ravalli County Museum will send zombies into the streets of Hamilton Saturday evening, October 17.

A zombie Survival Kit Scavanger Hunt is part of three main events that night, according to Tamar Stanley of the museum. The Zombie Apocalypse sends groups of daring humans out looking for items at various businesses, beginning at 4:30 p.m. They're armed with marshmellow guns to fight off the clusters of zombies who will try to stop them. Individuals can play for $20 each or groups of four are only $60.

Following that, a Laser Light Show and Zombie Dance will start at 7 p.m. back at the museum on South 3rd. The evening includes kids activities. There will be "finger" food, catered by Mineshaft and Pikeman BBQ. Admission is $10 for adults and $4 for kids under 12. There are reduced prices for those who attended the scavanger hunt.

A special hometown screaming ... er, rather .... screening of "Zombies of the Living Dead" by Christian Ackerman will be in the Courtroom Gallery at 9:30 p.m. The movie was filmed in the Bitter Root Valley. Admission is $10, or $5 if you've been to either of the other events.

Red Curtain Photo will have a photo booth so you can "capture" some zombie memories of the night.

If you need more information on the "one night only" events, call the museum at (406) 363-3338 or check the museum's website. Of course, you can also drop by the Ravalli County Museum during the day at 205 Bedford, Hamilton.
