Try steam cleaning your grill. Put a pie pan over one of the burners and bring the heat up just enough to boil the water. The steam will loosen food residue and make cleaning easier.

Line your grease tray with aluminum foil. Then, when you're done cooking, throw some kitty litter in the tray. Then you can pull the foil and throw the batch away without any runny grease.

Once scrubbed most of the food off, try throwing the grills in the dishwasher on the "pots" setting.

Always pre-heat your grill. Not only does it help sanitize things, but it sears the meat when you throw it on, so its good for cleaning and flavor!
