Pot Grower Confesses by Mistake

Maybe Jasper Harrison had been enjoying a little too much of his own harvest and paranoia set in. Whatever the reason, he made things easy for authorities who were looking for.....?

Associated Press sent this to us out of Edgewater, Florida. It seems Mr. Harrison was growing weed in a storage unit and he panicked when he saw a police helicopter flying overhead. Ol' Jasper called 9-1-1 and surrendered..."I'm the guy you're looking for and want to come out without being shot! Have police contact me!" So, they did. They got directions to his storage unit, where they found 150 grams of cultivated marijuana and 9 plants. Jasper will face charges of growing marijuana within 1,000 feet of a school and intent to sell.

Oh, yeah. The police helicopter? It was in the area investigating a suspicious death totally unrelated to Farmer Jasper. Nobody was looking for him at the time of his confession! :-)
