There's a lot more that goes into becoming a police officer than people think. Not only do you have to complete, and pass, a written exam, you also have to pass a background check and a rigorous physical test among other things.

Being a police officer is no joke, especially in a place like Missoula. We've got meth heads running around in the freezing cold these days and we need our officers well-trained and capable of running down these lunatics before they hurt someone.

So if you, or someone you know, is interested and is taking the proper steps towards becoming a sworn officer, there's a Police Officer Applicant Testing coming up in early March!

Check the details:

Applicant testing will be conducted on Saturday, March 10th, 2018.

Testing will be held at Big Sky High School Auxiliary Gym.  Check in begins at 7:30 A.M. and concludes at 8:00 A.M.  Testing begins promptly at 8:00 A.M.  Plan to wear your physical testing clothing to the morning written test.  Bring one government-issued photo identification card and photocopy of that ID.
