Pitch in to Help Missoula Mavericks Baseball

Missoula Mavericks American Legion Baseball has been a source of community pride for a long time. There are more kids and levels of play than you might think, and they could use your help as they "Growl 4 Good" January 20. Here's the pitch:

The Laughing Grizzly Bar & Grill will feature the Missoula Mavericks Baseball Club at its Growl 4 Good community night January 20th. One dollar for every pint sold will be donated to the Mavs to help support field and stadium improvements in advance of the July American Legion AA championship tournament.

The Mavs will host an informational table with players, coaches and board members answering questions. Parents, players and supporters of the Mavericks are encouraged to attend the event.

Organizers also wanted me to thank the Laughing Grizzly for their fundraising support. Hours for Growl 4 Good are 5:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
