The pumpkins weren't stolen. It was an honest mistake. And some pigs were the big beneficiaries! Associated Press tells us that hundreds of pumpkins were reported stolen after a festival in southern New Hampshire. They had been set aside behind a local school to be sold at an upcoming craft festival. Well, a farmer saw all these pumpkins and asked a school employee if they were being saved or thrown out. The employee didn't know for sure, but gave the okay for the farmer to take them. So, while the only ones who were real happy about the whole thing were the farmer and his hungry hogs, at least there was no theft and no one is charged with any wrongdoing. Happy Halloween all!
