A great songwriter, vocalist and wicked piano player will be doing an acoustic show in Missoula! After a long absence, Phil Vassar will be returning to town for an acoustic show Friday, May 8, at the Dennison Theater on the University of Montana campus!

Phil Vassar has a great catalog of hits, like Six-Pack Summer, Carlene and Just Another Day in Paradise, along with hits that Phil has written for other stars, including Bye-Bye (Jo Dee Messina), Little Red Rodeo (Colin Raye) and My Next Thirty Years (Tim McGraw).

The concert is a benefit for the Missoula Sports Commission, a group of volunteers working to bring more revenue-generating events into the Missoula economy, such as high school basketball tournaments. Tickets are on sale now at all Griztix outlets, as well as griztix.com. And you can get more information about this and other fine shows through Tucker Entertainment

Getting to meet Phil Vassar at his last Missoula concert a number of years ago, was a real treat. Just a great, outgoing, likeable guy and a heck of an entertainer. I hope you can take in what promises to be an outstanding, intimate acoustic show!  DB
