Pflugrad Names New Defensive Line Coach

University of Montana Grizzly football coach Robin Pflugrad says Legi Suiaunoa  has served as a strength coach, a defensive coordinator and has good recruiting ties. He was the defensive line coach at Portland State last season.

Suiaunoa is a native of Oceanside, Calif., and won a junior college national championship while playing at Palomar Junior College in 1997. He played linebacker at Nevada from 1998-2001 and graduated in 2002.

He then returned to Palomar and coached the linebackers for two seasons, was a graduate assistant at Nevada, coached the defensive line at Western Washington for four seasons and was defensive coordinator at Eastern Oregon in 2009.
