In my opinion, it's not even a question, Pete Rose should be in the MLB Hall of Fame. After watching the Major League Baseball All-Star Game last night and seeing the world give cheers to the great baseball players of the past it seemed silly to me that the persn with the most hits in major league history is not in the Hall of Fame.

He has admitted to betting on the game of baseball, and has since been banned from the game. Everyone understand what he did was wrong, but at least he is man enough to admit his bad decisions and not lie about them.

While watching the player introductions last night Ryan Braun of the Milwaukee Brewers was introduced and was booed. His numbers this year deserve for him in the past but he has also used performance enhancing drugs in the past. Many fans label Braun a cheater for what he did. Although he was still represented in the All Star game.

I just don't understand how MLB can let one player who has used enhancements that are against the rules and is still allowed to be an ambassador for the game. When the one person in history to have the most hits isn't allowed to be in the Hall of Fame. It doesn't seem right to me.

Just a side note. I was in Las Vegas a few years back and Pete Rose was doing an autograph session in one of the casinos. My wife was shopping and called me to let me know, I didn't hear my phone go off. I can't believe I missed out on an opportunity to get an autograph from one of the best baseball players of all time!
