Permit Deadline Changed

Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks is reminding hunters that the deadline for bull elk and buck deer permit applications has been moved up to March 15. Agency spokesman Ron Aasheim says that the change is intended to give hunters three extra months to plan hunts. He says results of the permit drawings will be available at the end of April.
