Road crews have been working hard and fast to get a new surface laid down on South Avenue from Sentinel High School to Higgins Avenue.  They've been going at a pretty good clip too. If the weather holds they could get it done by the end of this week or mid-week next week at the latest

Century-Old Logs Put To Use

I drive out to Bonner several times a day and always wonder when the logs in the Blackfoot River will be pulled out. Since the dam was removed and the water level is now drastically lower, hundreds of old mill logs line the banks and bottom of the Blackfoot River. It's nice to see someone taking care of the logs in Flathead Lake.

New Fishing Website

The Montana State Library and Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks teamed up to launch a new website designed to help anglers find the basic information they need for a successful fishing season.

National Forest Workshop

A national forest workshop begins today in Seeley Lake to help Montanans and Montana companies win positions in our national forests. Most of the work will be by contract and will take place in the Lolo, Helena, and Flathead National Forests.
