Oreos are America’s favorite cookies, and who doesn’t love the snap, crackle and pop of Rice Krispies? So, what could be better than smashing together two of everyone’s favorites to make one heavenly crunchy treat?

This recipe is super easy. You don’t even need a stove or a pot. All you need are two bowls, a spoon and a microwave. This is a great recipe to make with your kids. What kid doesn’t love to squash things and make a mess? I know all my boys do.

You could make these to take to potluck or as a snack for your kid’s sports team. No one will know how easy they are to make, but everyone will be impressed with how they taste.

Oreo Krispy Cookies

1 package mini marshmallows

1/ 2 stick of butter

6 cups Rice Krispies cereal

2 sleeves (about 20) Oreos

2 cubes of baking white chocolate

Dump the Oreos into a gallon zip storage bag and crush them up. Once crushed, dump the Oreos into a large bowl, then add the cereal and stir until mixed and set aside.

In another bowl, melt the butter in the microwave. Once the butter has melted, add the marshmallows to the bowl and cook them in the microwave for 30 seconds at a time, stirring at each interval. Once the marshmallows are melted, add the cereal mix to the marshmallows and stir until combined. Now spread the entire mix into a 9x13 inch pan.

Melt the white chocolate 30 seconds at a time in the microwave, stirring after each interval. Once chocolate is completely melted, drizzle it on top of the cookies. Cut into squares once you are ready to eat.
