A one-car rollover near on the Eastside Highway near Florence on Friday at about 12:30 p.m. left two teenage girls with minor injuries.

Montana Highway Patrol trooper Patrick Heaney said "two young girls, a 15 year-old and a 16 year-old were driving and took a corner way too fast." "She lost control of the vehicle," Heaney continued, "and rolled the vehicle one time, resulting in minor injuries for both girls.

Heaney added, "the girls were transported to Missoula's Community Medical Center as a precaution, but their injuries were minor". "The 16 year-old driver will be cited for reckless driving and no proof of insurance".

Heaney said the girls in the SUV were both wearing seat belts, and the accident could have been much worse without them. "There was a witness," Heaney said, "a woman driving near the accident had to slam on her brakes and get off the roadway, but she was not injured."
