Ole’s Country Store Jingle — So What Line Is It Anyway?

We’ve had a real fact finding task confronting us. John Harrington, a Missoula native, wanted to know about some lines in the Ole’s Country Store jingle. It’s been a source of disagreement/discussion when he and his Hellgate High School classmates get together for reunions. He’s asked us and we’re asking Craig & Al Morning Show listeners, for help.

The lines in question are; “best by a country mile” or “best buy in country miles,” and “best one stop deal in town” or “best fun stop deal around.”

We found a YouTube video of Matt Luceno, one of the people involved in the discussions, singing what he believes is the correct version of the Ole’s jingle.

So what do you think? Love to hear from you. Leave us a comment below.
