Now THAT’S Small Town Fun

My wife Patty and grand daughter Blue at a recent Missoula City Band concert

Missoula City Band c0ncerts are back for the summer at Bonner Park.  In fact Gary Gillette, City Band director, will be joining the Craig & Al Morning Show every Wednesday.

One of my earliest Missoula memories involves the Missoula City Band.  When I moved to town in the summer of 1977 my folks came to visit from Minneapolis.  What the heck does a 25-year old do with his parents?

Exactly.  Off the City Band concert in Bonner Park.  Dad was a broadcaster and a musician so he loved it.  Mom loved anything that had to do with good clean fun so she loved it.

It’s free.  It’s every Wednesday night at 8:00.  And you’re invited.
