Not the Best Getaway Vehicle for DUI Offender

I'm sure police officers were extremely irritated, and probably a little embarrassed, during a DUI arrest. You never want a drunk driver in your custody to get back on the road. Especially in a squad car!

But Associated Press tells us that was the situation in Lyndon Station, Wisconsin. A woman will be facing her third drunk driving offense. And this time she did so in a stolen police car. Officers were dealing with an intoxicated man and woman at a gas station and convenience store. The woman staggers out of the store. When a deputy looks outside to check up on her, he sees his patrol car is gone. They hop in another patrol car and were able to pull her over after a short time.

Luckily no one was injured. I imagine the arresting officers had some explaining to do, though.
