Most of us probably cringe when he get notified for jury duty. But don't try this to get out of it, okay?  It almost cost this clown a contempt of court charge.

Associated Press tells us that James Lowe of Barnet, Vermont, was released from jury duty when he showed up in court wearing a black-and-white-striped prison jumpsuit and matching beanie. As he joined other prospective jurors, deputies soon directed him to an empty room, where he met with His Honor.  The judge told him he could be found in contempt of court and be fined or given jail time. Instead he was just told to leave.

Mr. Lowe says juror instructions don't restrict clothing, but he's happy to be out of jury duty because of work and family.

Well, I guess he's got his Halloween costume picked out already.    DB
