No, that's not the title of one of those North Dakota joke that Montanans tend to enjoy.According to Associated Press, hundreds of students are studying for jobs as drone pilots, including at the University of North Dakota, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and Kansas State University. Of course the big catch right now is that there are no jobs. Reminds me of when I was back in college and studying to be an English teacher. But I digress. Jobs or not, students are are learning to fly unmanned aircraft. Drones are of course best know for military use. But the civilian market could take off if our government decides to approve wider use in the next few years. From crop spraying to search and rescue operations, these students could be on the ground floor of something big. DB
