Wow, maybe all schools strapped for cash should take a close look at stuff that's been hanging on the walls for years. Apparently a Norman Rockwell painting that's been on the principal's office wall in Gardner, Mass. for over half a century is the real deal. So the city of Gardner plans to put it up for auction. It was a gift from Rockwell to a former principal at the high school, and it's just been hanging around for about 52 years. Experts think it should sell for at least $2.5 million, although a Rockwell recently sold for $46 million! The money will be used for a foundation to benefit schools. Could be a whole lot of benefit.
