No Pizza For This Bear

If you ever order from a Louie's Pizza in Colorado Springs, you won't have to worry about bear being a topping choice. But it could have been a close call on that one, were it not for alert workers and law enforcement.

Associated Press reports that a bear wandered into one of the Louie's locations near a high school. A police resource officer was dispatched to look for the bear, and that's when Louie's employees flagged him down. The bear was in the back of the store, taking a nap on a rack of boxes. Well, I can relate. I always enjoy a good nap after a big helping of pizza and perhaps a brew or two!

But sadly for the bear, it was tranquilized and removed without ever getting a slice of pie.   DB
