The New York World's Fair opened 50 years ago with corporate pavilions predicting amazing things by 2014. Well, we don't have a colony on the moon yet, as the General Motors Futurama exhibit predicted. And we still don't fly around with jet packs as a means of transportation. But the computing power of your smartphone far exceeds anything fair goers saw on display in 1964. And of course some of the things they predicted we'd be using computers for today were probably laughable to a lot of the folks that saw the exhibits back then. It will be cool to see the documentary about the fair being put together. Guess I'll jet pack home to the moon and get ready to watch it on my space TV.  DB
