No Hang Gliders Anytime Soon

Like a lot of people, the members of the University of Montana Hang Gliding Club are anxious for Spring.  But, as you might have noticed, Spring is taking its time this year.

The University & the Forest Service open the road for us starting May 1st.  We drive up through Crazy Canyon and park our trucks right at the top of Mt. Sentinel, just out of sight of the valley.

Ain't no truck goin' up that road anytime soon

I took this photo Sunday at the gate near the top, right where the trail from the Kim Williams trail intersects with the Crazy Canyon Trail.

Looks like it might be a while.
