Ninth Grade Girls Hire Male Stripper

I imagine at least a few parents were getting ready to ground their kids for the next 30 years over this one. And maybe they still are, but if the principal can be this forgiving, maybe the girls will get lucky with their parents, too.

In Des Moines, Iowa, Associated Press tells us that a group of ninth-grade girls hired a male stripper for their synchronized swimming banquet! The girls say it was just a joke and he didn't totally disrobe. Synchronized swimming is not a sanctioned school sport, it's a club and the banquet was not on school grounds, so Roosevelt High Principal Kevin Briggs says there will be no punishment.

My first question: Wouldn't the stripper have known ahead of time he would be performing in front of ninth-graders? No dollar bills for you, pal!    DB
