New Years Eve Traditions Around the World

There are some really cool traditions around the world for ringing in the New Year. I love the one in the Philippines, mainly cause I love polka dots.

Buzzfeed recently did an article about the different traditions that other parts of the world partake on New Years Eve. For example the women in Argentina like to wear new pink underwear for New Years to attract love.

In Brazil they wear white to scare away the bad spirits, and in Australia they come out of their houses banging pits and pans at midnight. In Colombia people walk around their neighborhood with empty suitcases hoping for a year filled with travel.

There are some really great ones, but my favorite like I had mentioned is the one in the Philippines, they believe that wearing polka dots will bring a good year ahead! I LOVE polka dots sot hat works for me.
