New World’s Record Pumpkin

Who knew a guy could get so worked up over a giant pumpkin. Ron Wallace of Green, RI entered his giant gourd in the Topsfield Fair and took first prize with a new worlds record. For his efforts he wins $5,500 for first place and another $10,000 as  a bonus for breaking the one ton mark. So I guess winning that much money for growing a pumpkin would sort of work a guy up.
