New Dog Park Open In Missoula

The .08 acre park sits at the corner of South Avenue and South Johnson Street.  It's actually part of a larger city park - the rest of the 4 acres will open in the spring.

The land than now houses the park was sold to the city by Montana Rail Link and is named MRL Park.  In planning sessions for the park held last year - residents of the neighborhood expressed their desire for a dog park.

Grab your friendly pooch and check it out!  The park is ready - with poop bags, trash cans, space to run and benches for pet owners!
