NBC will not air the Miss USA pageant next month because of what Donald Trump said about Mexican immigrants in his presidential campaign announcement.

An NBC statement says, "Due to the recent derogatory statements by Donald Trump regarding immigrants, NBC Universal is ending its business relationship with Mr. Trump. To that end, the annual Miss USA and Miss Universe pageants will no longer air on NBC."

As The Apprentice is a Mark Burnett production, NBC acknowledged "that relationship will continue." The Donald, however, has already said he won't host the show next season because he's too busy running for president and sticking his foot in his mouth. Even funnier is his possible replacement on the Apprentice is Mexican.

Univision dropped Miss USA last week. The ceremony is scheduled for July 12th.

Trump blasted NBC in a statement, saying, “If NBC is so weak and foolish to not understand the serious illegal immigration problem in the United States, coupled with the horrendous and unfair trade deals we are making with Mexico, then their contract violating closure of Miss Universe/Miss USA will be determined in court.”
