My Artificial Tree Turned Pitch Black

How in the world did this happen? Well I have asked the listeners and they have some theories of their own.

I have had this tree for years and it has always been a nice evergreen color. Well this year as I opened the box I found to my horror that it had turned pitch black. Now I do have another tree and it was fine. Still nice and green. Well people seem to think that the heat must have changed the color? Or maybe it had some kind of chemical reaction? Some folks joked that it was a prank or it was haunted maybe.
