Like most people, I love coffee. I’m convinced that I couldn’t survive without it. Well, maybe I could but my mornings would be much more terrible. They wouldn’t just be unpleasant for me but for everyone who was around me in the morning.

I’m not just a morning coffee drinker. I love to drink it in the afternoon and even at night. However, in the summer I prefer not to drink hot coffee later in the day. Hot weather plus hot coffee makes me sweat. To help you beat the heat and still enjoy your coffee this summer I’ve thrown together a list of my favorite summer coffee hacks.

Pour your favorite creamer into ice cube trays and freeze. Add these ice cubes to your iced coffee to help keep it from getting watery.

If you prefer more of a milk flavor then add your coffee to the ice cube trays and then freeze. Add these coffee cubes to your milk.

Make your favorite coffee and pour it into a popsicle container. Let it freeze and then enjoy it on a hot summer day.

Dip plastic spoons in melted chocolate or white chocolate. Let cool and then place them in a bag. Keep them in your purse to stir them into your coffee when you’re out and the only thing to drink is black coffee.

For extra thick and rich coffee, pour black coffee over your favorite ice cream. At first it’s a great mix of hot and cold, but once the ice cream all melts, it’s just heaven in your mouth.
