Mountain Lion Stalks Four Year Old

Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks officials from time to time have to deal with an overly aggressive mountain lion, the latest is at the Harper’s Lake fishing access site just above Clearwater Junction. The cat was seen stalking a 4 year old and when campers tried to chase the cat off it didn’t run.  A wildlife conflict specialist went to the area to deal with the mountain lion.

FW&P says everyone needs to remember that we’re living in mountain lion country and it’s not unusual to encounter cats when we’re enjoying the outdoors. There are simple things you can do if you run into a mountain lion.
