Most Americans One Paycheck Away From Being Homeless.
Here's a sobering fact ... new research finds that most Americans are one paycheck away from living on the street.
According to a survey by Bankrate.com, 62% of Americans have no money tucked away for things like a $1,000 emergency room visit or a $500 car repair.
Those surveyed said if faced with an emergency they would get the money by cutting back somewhere else (26%), borrowing from family or friends (16%) or using credit cards (12%). (Yahoo)
