To be fair, the great people of Montana don't have any more experience dealing with tigers than any other state in the country.

But something tells me we would easily be able to navigate the differences many hundreds of pounds and color schemes present should the situation ever arise.

You may have heard about the social media frenzy whipped up this week by residents of New York, who were in a panic over sightings of a tiger on the loose in the streets of Harlem. Calls were coming in to local police departments, who in turn were advising their app users about responding to unconfirmed reports of a tiger on the loose.

AP tells us that yes, there was a wild animal out there, alright. Tiger? Hardly. Try raccoon.

Yep. I can't wait till a magpie lands on someone's railing and New York police get calls about a loose pterodactyl.
