Montana Youth Deer Hunt Days Modified Slightlty

There is something a bit different about how youth-only deer hunting and general hunting season work this year. The youth-only, deer-only hunting season is October 17-18. That still coincides with the Montana Education Association annual convention, so kids are out of school. But this year it is not adjacent to the opening weekend of the general season opener, which is a week later. Everything else is pretty much the same. It's open to kids age 12-15 accompanied by a licensed adult. But before that, be sure to keep youth-only waterfowl/pheasant hunt days in mind September 21-22.
