Montana State Tree, Looking Forward to Fall

I really actually love all seasons, I feel we are blessed to have four seasons here. Fall is fast approaching and with that in mind started thinking about the Montana State Tree. Do you know what it is? I love the colors of fall.

The Pine trees start turning their fall colors and other trees begin to lose their leaves.The Ponderosa Pine dominates western North America. It is the Montana state tree! They say there can be hint of vanilla coming from them? When the needles are it smells of turpentine and citrus.

Those that spend a lot of time in the woods know the Ponderosa Pine! I guess birds are fans of the Ponderosa forests.
