Montana is full of beauty and photo opportunities. A lady and friend of mine has taken that and ran with it. She is kind of enough to share this with us.

Brenda Ahearn has been capturing moments in NW Montana for years. Even though it was her anniversary to celebrate she gave us a present instead. She put together a wonderful slideshow that is a true tribute to her work. She is celebrating six years with the Daily Interlake in Kalispell,MT but she has a lifetime of work ahead of her here and already has accomplished so much. Her pictures of the Northern Lights have gained national attention as well as her photos from the famous Spartan Race. She is in the works on something fun, I know it. Right now she is keeping mum but I expect to be seeing more of her work around and I for one can't wait. A photographer sees the beauty in all things and I think she is a great example of that.

Take a second to check out this amazing and stunning slide show that has been paired with "Bury Me in Montana" by Mike Murray.

A Celebration of Life in Northwest MontanaOk. Now that the my story is out in the paper I can share this video. This is the project I have been working on that looks back at some of my favorite images from my six years here in Montana. When I got the job at The Daily Inter Lake I had no idea how much my life was going to change or how blessed I would be.I am so grateful to Mike Murray for allowing me to use his song "Bury Me in Montana" which perfectly captures why I love this place so much.
