Montana Moose Poacher Sought

I used to be an avid hunter. When I was a kid it was one of the ways we put meat on the table. I quit hunting several years ago because, to be honest, I just got tired shooting things. I respect and understand anyone who hunts. When I run across something like this I get pretty upset; On Tuesday, FWP game warden, Joe Kambic, responded to a report of an injured moose near Avon. He found the moose dead, with evidence of multiple gunshot wounds from a small caliber rifle. Kambic believes that the moose was shot sometime on Monday, Feb. 18, did not immediately die, and was left to waste. Kambic is now looking for help from the public to solve the case.
Anyone with information on this incident is encouraged to call 1-800-TIP-MONT (1-800-847-6668) or contact Kambic directly at 406-490
