Our neighbors in Wyoming are dealing with a rash of tailgate thefts.

And I do mean the actual truck tailgate itself. Associated Press says that Cheyenne police have received lots of reports of tailgate swiping. In the past month alone, 15 tailgates have been removed from newer-model Ford F-250 trucks. Speculation is that thieves are targeting high technology in the parts, as many of the stolen tailgates are equipped with rear-view cameras. So if your truck is in that category, it might be a good idea to get some anti-theft advice from your dealer, a security company, local law enforcement, etc. Wouldn't want you to be the victim of some high-tech-hunting creep.
