Seven thousand loud fans rattled the rafters last night in Dahlberg Arena, cheering for their Grizzlies under head coach Wayne Tinkle. It was the tourney title game against Weber State. A chance to play in the NCAA basketball tournament was on the line. It wasn’t easy for Montana for about three quarters of the 40 minutes, but right around the mid-point of the second half the Griz got it going. Down the stretch  they slowly, steadily built a lead over the wildcats of Weber. In the end, Montana dominated, winning 85-66. Sophomore guard Kareem Jamar had 23 points, post player Mathias Ward tallied the same. Jamar was named tourney MVP. Head coach Wayne Tinkle worked the crowd during the game, and after the game celebrated with all the fans and his players.
